Unemployment Survey for Family Child Care

On Tuesday this week, the Senate Finance Committee is holding a hearing on unemployment insurance. Child care advocates in Washington D.C. and Tom Copeland need help to try to make it easier for family child care providers to get unemployment benefits.

This link is a survey for family child care providers to fill out. The data will be used at the Senate hearing.

The questions are related to whether family child care providers have applied for unemployment, whether you have been approved, or whether you have been rejected. The information providers share will be used to support changes in the federal law if needed (for example, to strengthen the ability for family child care providers to receive unemployment assistance).
