REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
FOR CONSULTANT
INTRODUCTION
CACFP Roundtable was formed in 1977 and is a nonprofit organization that works alongside the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) community to educate, advocate, and support the field. In all of the work we do at CACFP Roundtable, we see it as our duty to help facilitate dialogue, promote innovation, and create space for collaboration. Our mission is to foster a community of leaders who work together to support equitable access to the Child and Adult Care Food Program and nutritious meals in care settings.Â
CACFP Roundtable is remotely based in California and works with the entirety of the CACFP community across the nation, from state agencies, sponsors, adult and child care centers, to home-based child care providers. With funding from First 5 LA, we are launching a one-year project that seeks to build an engaged community of home-based child care providers who have a safe and proactive space to: discuss nutrition, health, and wellness; learn new skills related to successfully operating the CACFP in their child care settings; and advocate for local and statewide system change improvements to the CACFP.
