Helping Providers Navigate Financial Support - COVID-19

The child care system was in crisis prior to COVID-19. Slots were limited, parents couldn't afford it and child care providers themselves were often in financially precarious situations. Therefore, COVID-19 has significantly impacted the child care field and many providers are at risk of not being able to reopen and many facilities that stayed open are operating at limited capacity.

NWLC and Georgetown Center on Poverty and Inequality have put together a fact sheet, Considerations for Child Care Providers & Workers Navigating Financial Support Options During the COVID-19 Crisis, to help child care providers (home-based, center-based, large and small) navigate, not only, financial resources but also consider tough questions based around immediate financial needs and the long-term viability of their business.
