Farm to School Grant Request for Proposals Open until January 10th

USDA is providing competitive grants to help you implement farm to school programs that improve access to local foods in USDA Food and Nutrition (FNS) Child Nutrition Programs, including the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

CACFP Sponsors as well as child care centers that contract directly with the state are eligible.

Funds can be used for:

  • Training;

  • Supporting operations;

  • Planning;

  • Purchasing equipment;

  • Developing school gardens;

  • Developing partnerships; and,

  • Implementing farm to school programs.

Good luck!

The CACFP community and the CACFP Roundtable work together to provide support to those who need it. Without your participation and engagement the CACFP Roundtable cannot continue to help you advocate for policy improvements, relevant resources and information. Thank you for the time and support you have already given us. If you're looking for other ways to "give" throughout December, you could consider one of these ideas!
