CACFP Pop-Up Recording & Resources: CACFP Budget 101 and ECR Q&A

Yesterday, we held a CACFP Pop-Up with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) to provide needed clarification on CACFP budgets along as Sponsors of Family Child Care Homes figure out how to handle new funds this year with the State Meal Reimbursement (SMR) and Emergency Cost Reimbursements (ECR). Additionally, the California Department of Education (CDE) joined us to clarify provider eligibility for ECR funds.

This CACFP Pop-up was quickly arranged in response to a number of questions, concerns, and confusion expressed at our CACFP Roundtable Member Meeting the week prior. Join us to be a part of these conversations that shape informational opportunities and resources for our CACFP Community! We're working together to make the CACFP a stronger, more accessible, and equitable program.
