We've been hearing from the community that some basic training is needed because of high-turnover rates in your programs. The Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN) has 20 trainings that can be done called CACFP iTrain Simple Lesson Plans. They are intended to be 15-30 minutes long and "designed for CACFP professionals with limited training" (ICN). They include the training script and the powerpoint slide deck. Topics range from food safety to common terms in CACFP to menu planning and record keeping.

Are these the types of trainings you are looking for? If not, what else would be helpful? Do share in the comments or email me, samantha@ccfproundtable.org.
