CACFP in Bulk

Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) operators are allowed to provide more than 1 day's worth of meals to children whose parents want to pick them up or deliver them. The CACFP community has been enabled to do this because of USDA's nationwide waivers: non-congregate feeding and meal times which have both been extended through August 31, 2020.

Team Nutrition has created a guide which provides considerations, tips, best practices and sample menus for those who wish to distribute multiple meals at one time. Check out Providing Meals at a Time During Coronavirus Pandemic.

Have you used these waivers to deliver meals or have parents pick up multiple meals? We want to hear about it. Please share your story, process and experience here!
