CACFP Community Events Coming Your Way: FFN Town Hall, CDSS Waiver Discussion, and Conference

The CACFP Roundtable is excited to continue bringing our community together for informational sessions and dynamic conversations about CACFP and you. September and October are full of a variety of opportunities for you to connect with your peers and hear from experts in the field. Register for them now and we'll look forward to seeing you there.


On Thursday, September 2, join the Roundtable and SEIU: Education and Support Fund for a conversation about CACFP and licensed exempt providers (commonly known as Family, Friend and Neighbor providers - FFN). Hear from providers about their experience with food service in their care and the pathway to CACFP participation from a CACFP Sponsor and the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). We're excited to provide a space to have this conversation with you.

 

On Thursday, September 16th, Join us on September 16, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. for a members only meet-up! We'll come together as a large group (on Zoom) and then head into breakout rooms for more intimate discussion. CDSS joins us to provide updates and answer questions. More to come but in the meantime, reserve your spot.

 

On Tuesday, September 21, join us for the California CACFP Waiver Discussion with CDSS. CACFP Roundtable and California Department of Social Services are happy to provide a space for CDSS to clarify waiver applications and implementation, maintaining integrity while implementing the waivers and setting you up for success. Join us for a presentation, discussion and Q&A with CDSS.

 

REGISTRATION IS OPEN for the 30th Annual Virtual CACFP Conference! October 18th through the 20th join the Roundtable and your CACFP community for content that meets the moment and conversation that will both inspire and you and ensure you don't feel alone navigating CACFP now and in the future.
