"This certainly have been trying times. As we strive to remain partnered with our vulnerable population, we look for creative ways to serve them even if they aren't physically in our building. I did not expect our hand-made lunch to be one of the things that our participants so look forward to, but it is! We follow guidelines as best we can... sending a hand packed lunch and snack to those interested each week day. It surprises me to share that we've grown closer to our participant population as a direct result of our lunch deliveries, and the feelings appear to be mutual. Some days are harder than others, and on those days... we look to these small bright moments and are reminded of the things that bring us together, even as we are kept apart."
