5 websites to go for CACFP and National Garden Month

It's National Garden Month and that gives our CACFP community a lot of opportunities to learn about new resources to support children outside, learning how plants work and from where food comes.

  • USDA compiled all of their garden resources here (link)

  • Farm to Early Education from the National Farm to School Network has a plethora of resources to educate adults and children (link)

  • Kidsgardening.org has garden based activities, garden lesson plans, growing blog ideas and so much more (link)

  • Master Gardeners: This month might be a great time to find your community's Master Gardener and ask for assistance for your program! (link) There's a junior Master Gardener program too! (link)

  • CACFP - Farm to Preschool Pinterest page (link)

What are your favorite gardening resources? Share your resources or your Farm to CACFP story in the comments below or email me! samantha@ccfproundtable.org
