CACFP Roundtable is on a mission to foster a community of leaders who work together to build access to the Child and Adult Care Food Program and nutritious meals in care settings.

OUR MISSION
OUR APPROACH

CACFP Roundtable works in four distinct areas in which to focus and advance our mission: LEARNING, RESEARCH, POLICY & ADVOCACY, and COMMUNITY.

You may know us for our Annual CACFP Conference, or maybe other events where we seek to build knowledge and bolster the CACFP community, such as our CACFP Leadership Institute or our virtual summit, Roundtable Deep DiveDon't miss out on our unique approach to learning in CACFP.

We participate in research projects that engage the CACFP community and informs timely policy queries. We partner with academic researchers, state and federal agencies, and the CACFP community to gather data, stories, and insights; conduct rigorously designed research; and to inform evidence-based policy recommendations.

CACFP Roundtable conducts policy analysis and advocates in partnership with the CACFP community. We prioritize systemic changes that build access to and growth of the CACFP; foster transparency and clarity; drive innovation, modernization, and evaluation; and prioritize the whole person -- grounded in values of inclusitivity, dignity, and mutual respect.

From our genesis 45 years ago, the Roundtable has brought people together, from across the CACFP community, for dialogue, consensus building, collaboration, learning, and growth. In all the work we do, we seek to build and strengthen community connections, so that in return we can all more effectively serve nutritious meals and advocate for a Program that meets the needs of the community.
